Terms of Use

By using StarYaar you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the app.

Who can use StarYaar

You must be 18 or older. One account per person. You agree to give accurate birth details, the app cannot work correctly with invented ones.

What StarYaar is

An astrology-based introduction service. Readings are computed from your birth chart and are provided for entertainment. They are not predictions of fact and not advice about your health, finances, career or relationships. We do not guarantee that you will meet anyone, marry anyone, or that any prediction will come true.

How you must behave

• Be decent to your matches. Harassment, threats, hate speech and sexual content sent to someone who did not ask for it are not allowed.
• Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your age.
• Do not use StarYaar to advertise, recruit, solicit money, or scam people.
• Do not attempt to break, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules, without refund where the breach is serious.

Subscriptions

• Reading answers are free. A subscription is only needed to chat with your matches.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see your card, UPI or bank details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the price of the plan you signed up on. If we raise prices, your existing subscription is not affected: the new price only applies to new subscriptions.
• Promotional prices are exactly what the app shows at the moment of purchase.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time. Deleting your account in Settings → Delete account cancels your subscription automatically, so you are never charged again. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds

Because access is granted immediately, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or something on our side stopped you using what you paid for, write to developer@staryaar.co.in and we will make it right.

Messages we send you

When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may contact you on WhatsApp and by SMS about your readings, your matches, your messages and occasionally about new features or offers.

You can stop the promotional ones at any time, and it costs you nothing to do so. Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from us, or write to developer@staryaar.co.in and we will remove you. We will keep sending the messages you actually need, such as a login code or a notice that someone has replied to you, because those are part of the service rather than marketing.

We do not sell your number, and we do not pass it to anyone else to message you on their own behalf.

Availability

We do our best to keep StarYaar running, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Features may change as the app improves.

Liability

StarYaar introduces people; it does not vet them. Use ordinary judgement when meeting anyone, and meet in public the first time. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
